Seeing “Misty Dawn”
Many of my images aim to convey a sense of place. One long term project about place is unique in that it speaks not to a specific location, but to a common meeting of sky and water, where ever they come together. My series, “Gentle Edges”, celebrates the subtle line where sky and water join. Taken not as vast landscapes, these intimate glimpses focus on the delicate and the sublime.

I’ve been meaning to comment on this image since it was first posted, but I had trouble finding the other photographer I was going to mention. I finally found the reference!
Your image reminds me of some of the Seascapes work by Hiroshi Sugimoto, although all his work was done in B&W.
Very nice image, by the way. Good combination of light with subtle textures to portray a mood.
